About Meghan:

Broadly speaking, I study interpersonal relationships. I’m interested in how people interact and how the attitudes that people hold influence these interactions. Specifically, my research focuses on interactions following negative experiences such as rejection and other minor transgressions. I study these topics in a variety of contexts, such as intergroup interactions and dating. I am also interested in how intergroup attitudes are shaped in childhood from both the perspective of majority and minority group members. I am a proud member of Psychology’s Feminist Voices, a database and pedagogical tool that highlights the history of women in psychology, as well as the work of current feminist psychologists.
